Oral Presentation Guidelines
Your Oral presentation is comprised of a presentation followed by questions and answers, consisting of a 8 minute presentation followed by a 4 minute Q+A.
New Investigator Award presentations are comprised of a presentation followed by questions and answers, consisting of a 10 minute presentation followed by a 5 minute Q+A.
Advanced Trainee presentations are comprised of a presentation followed by questions and answers, consisting of a 5 minute presentation followed by a 2 minute Q+A.

Please create your PowerPoint presentation in the 16:9 ratio, as this is the best display for the venue screens. The Meeting PowerPoint slide templatecan be downloaded here.
Slides for your Disclosure Statement
PowerPoint slides including a slide for your disclosures can be downloaded here. This slide is for all presentations.
This slide needs to be included at the beginning of each presentation please.
Please make sure you delete the statements which are not applicable to you.
These will be reviewed at the Speakers' Preparation Room and if you have been unable to include a slide the technician will automatically include a slide noting that the Disclosure Statement was not returned.
Recording and Copyright Consent
As a Hybrid Meeting your presentation will be broadcast live to virtual delegates and as part of Sleep DownUnder’s strategy to provide continuing professional development opportunities for our Members, sessions during the Annual Scientific Meeting will be recorded and made available on demand. Acceptance of your abstract is taken as confirmation of your agreement to have your presentation recorded for the purposes of broadcasting live and being made available on-demand for 6 months after the Meeting.
Please note that acceptance of your abstract is taken as confirmation of your agreement to have your abstract published in the Meeting Proceedings and/or Meeting app.
Abstract Withdrawal Policy
If you decide to withdraw your abstract, please let us know as soon as possible so that the program can be adjusted accordingly. Final date to withdraw abstracts is 14 September 2022. To view the abstract withdrawal policy click here.
All presenting authors (oral and poster) must register and pay to attend the Meeting by 26 August 2022, to be included in the abstract publication and Meeting App. Otherwise we regret that your presentation will have to be removed from the program.

Students must submit a letter from their supervisor defining their student status and include a copy of their current student card when registering for the Meeting. On registration, students will be asked to email this documentation to email@example.com.
